Karen, on the phone with AT&T to pay her final home phone bill... This is after about five minutes on hold.
'7,3,2,1,1,0,0,0,3,6,5,4, .........'
'yes'
'bill'
'pay current balance'
'checking'
'5,4,6,6,9,5,1,2,2,8,6,4,0,0,3,7.....'
'no'
'no!'
'no!'
'NO!'
'customer service'
Then, she holds for at least another five minutes, all the while, hearing THREE DIFFERENT VOICES tell her how important her call is, every ten seconds.
I think maybe the telephone company should change their hold process.
Some happy book news and library love.
