A typical morning

'We should straighten up a bit around here tonight'
'Okay...  What do you mean, 'straighten up'?'
(..blink.  Blink, blink...)

(calmly continues:)
'Well, we should take out the trash, and empty the recyclables, and clean the bathroom...  it's gotten kind of cluttered in here.  (Blink)'

'I hadn't really noticed'
